Our Story
A place where, if you choose it to be, it can feel like Christmas every day of the year!
When we began this sparkly, bauble-filled journey back in 2012, we had three simple goals:
- To create high-quality, beautiful hand-blown glass baubles.
- To provide stable, meaningful employment for our skilled craftsmen in Egypt.
- To do no harm to the environment throughout our entire business process.
These values remain at the very heart of our business. From our base in Devon and in our workshop in Cairo, we still get excited when creating our new designs. We are still 100% committed and passionate about making beautiful, perfect glass ornaments and protecting the wonderful skill of glass blowing for the future.

Our Treasure Tree Team
At Treasure Tree we work as a very small, close team which comprises of:
- Our family: who do so much behind the scenes during the busy Christmas season to prepare your online orders.
- Our talented skilled craftsmen in Cairo: Hamada, Amir, Hany, Said, Moustafa, Mohamed and Ahmed — who all expertly create and paint each unique handmade decoration for you.
- Our suppliers: Magdi works closely with our suppliers to source the best, exact materials and paint colours that we need.
- Our customers: including all the fantastic independent retailers who stock our Treasure Tree products and the wonderful individuals and families who visit us every year at Christmas shows to "buy our special decoration for this year". Seeing so many of our customers return year after year makes all our efforts and hard work worth the while.
Treasure Tree maybe a small family run business but we truly believe that small is brilliant: small is expert, small is efficient and small delivers friendly, personal service.
